**The successful candidate will need to speak fluent Arabic and English**
The purpose of the Addiction Counsellor is to provide high-quality addiction counselling services to individual Patients and Patients groups with a wide range of physical and mental health needs stemming from substance use disorders, in order to develop and implement appropriate treatment plans that support their sustained recovery and quality of life.
Key Accountabilities of Addiction Counsellors
Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) Involvement
Awareness on Addiction Counselling
Assist in promoting the understanding of the broader staff of the role addiction counselors play in enhancing Patients recovery
Participate as applicable in developing appropriate clinical policies and procedures, clinical protocols, case management, quality assurance programmes as per the defined care standards.
Take first-line accountability to update and utilise the information provided on the electronic medical records system to enhance the clinical activities, improve efficiency and support decision making.
Research and Improvement
Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures
Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports (clinical and departmental) to meet company and department’s requirements, policies and standards.
Perform other related duties or assignments as directed
