Chase resourcing are delighted to announce we are recruiting Assistant Consultants Ophthalmology for our client in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The Assistant Consultant Ophthalmology will strive for excellence in the surgical management of all patients ensuring patient safety and patient satisfaction.

Duties of Assistant Consultants Ophthalmology 

• Promote and provide high standard quality of Ophthalmology care
• Operate in the OR within approved privileges
• Present in working vicinity during working hours
• Be available on call any time whilst in Area
• Work under supervision of consultant and the section head.
• Allowed certain aspects of primary care responsibilities with the approved privileges. These are defined and supervised by immediate consultant and by section head.
• Carries out specific duties within the division of Ophthalmology with restricted responsibilities  as requested by immediate senior
• Participate in training and mentoring junior staff
• Attend and participate in all Ophthalmology division meetings
• Attend and participate in all Ophthalmology division academic and research activities
• Be actively involved in ongoing quality management programs
• Perform other job duties as assigned
• Meet the CME requirements of Saudi specialization
• Attend and participate in all Department of surgery meetings
• During on-call, all admissions and discharges are to be seen by candidate in ER
• Ensure approval of proper TRA by the chairman before going on leave

Requirements of Assistant Consultants Ophthalmology

• Saudi Specialty certification or equivalent in Ophthalmology
• Accredited residency training program in Ophthalmology Surgery acceptable to client
• Level 1 English speaker
• Preferably Arabic speaker
• Basic computer skills
