Responsibilities of Clinical Psychologist
To provide a range of psychological services as required in partnership with children and families including assessment, review, programme implementation, behaviour management and differential diagnosis.
There will be a specific focus on autism assessment and intervention
Contribute towards the ongoing development of the service, including participation in the evaluation of service delivery and in research initiatives.
To monitor and keep up-to-date with developments in psychology and disseminate information where relevant to staff and families.
Requirements of Clinical Psychologist
Applicants must have a recognised university degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject
Minimum 3 years post graduate experience.
Experience working with children aged from birth to 18 years, with a range of disabilities, (including autism, learning disability) and their families.
Qualification and experience of assessing children for autism diagnosis (ADOS).
