Chase Resourcing are delighted to announce we are recruiting for a Commercial & Contracts Manager for our client in Luxembourg.
The Project Commercial & Contracts Manager is responsible for implementing, maintaining and reporting against the commercial plan for that project on a timely basis.
Responsibilities will include implementing company policies, systems & procedures. Budgetary control of the Programme of projects through the development and use of the Cost Control Sheet (CCS). Resolving contractual and commercial problems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Manage the budget of the project.
Ensure that the project and company are protected in all contractual agreements with Clients and subcontractors in line with good business practice.
Ensuring that the financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to all parties.
Ensuring all parties understand and adhere to contractual obligations; reflecting them accordingly.
Work alongside Project Manager in the delivery of projects.
Should be a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Management having worked on a wide range of Contracts, including EPC, E&C, NEC, and FIDIC, but not limited
Should have very sound Commercial Analytical skills and experience and knowledge of a variety of risk mitigation measures – should have depth in dealing with the detail and also be able to bring this in perspective of overall Project and Company requirements
Should have a very good understanding of Techno-Commercial aspects of the Contract and be able to manage both aspects with ease on the Projects
Should have prior experience of either having lead or being in a team that has managed Claims pursuant to the Contracts
Strong Legal Administration Skills
Should have strong Project Experience
Has the ability to build strong relationships and manage the same various stakeholders, including clients, sub-ordinates, peers, Board members, and other related entities
Quantity Surveyor degree
The candidate should have at least 15 years or more of experience in Commercial & Contract Management and be able to navigate through various aspects of the Contract with ease.
Previous experience in E&I Construction companies, especially in Chemical Plant, Refineries & Pharma
Should have led a team in her/his career
Carries strong people skills
Has very strong communication skills and fluency in English
