Job Purpose of Community Intervention Team Services Manager
The CIT Services Manager will play a key role in the management and development of the CIT service in the Cork and Kerry region. The post holder is responsible to ensure to ensure that the optimum standard of service is delivered on a daily basis within CIT, maintaining the quality of patient care, developing existing and new services as necessary and meeting strict deadlines and KPIs as set out by the General Manager. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of both managerial and clinical leadership in the delivery of the high quality and cost effective service which includes responsibility for the ongoing management of staff and their performance within CIT. The CIT Services Manager will contribute positively to the delivery of the service, its future direction and growth of CIT

The post holder will lead and develop the CIT service provision throughout Cork and Kerry. They will contribute strategically and operationally to the effective running of the CIT service. The post holder must also ensure adherence to all South Doc programmes, policies and procedures.
Job Scope
The CIT Services Manager will ensure that an ongoing programme for CIT improvement initiatives are developed, implemented and managed throughout Cork and Kerry. Staff will be continuously updated and advised of these changing priorities and implications. The post holder will have influence on the management and investment of a significant resource budget. All expenditure will be monitored for effective utilisation of internal or external resources.
Jobholder Reporting
The CIT Services Manager will report to the General Manager. The CIT Services Manager will have overall responsibility for the smooth operation of the service. The CIT Services Manager will meet the General Manager on a weekly basis in headquarters and will be in regular communication through standards development, informal progress meetings, written reports, general discussions etc. The CIT Services Manager will meet the CIT Clinical Development Specialist as required along with weekly briefings (Meetings/Telephone Calls).
