Chase Resourcing are delighted to announce that we are seeking a Computer Science Training Specialist for a major client of ours located in the UAE.
Main goal of the job – Creating, delivering and measuring the impact of training programs, measuring performance gaps, comparing the impact of training against the cost
Responsibilities for the Computer Science Training Specialist role include:
● Prepare an annual training plan according to the strategic priorities, evaluation results and the training
needs of the Computer Science, Design Technology and related staff
● Design and develop training programs, providing technical support for core training in the implementation
of the training programmes.
● Evaluate training packages in cooperation with the related departments according to industry principles
and best practice
● Co-ordinate the external training provides to prepare or develop the content of training programmes that
are planned for staff in the light of the Ministry’s needs and the training and professional development
plan.
● Identify suitable staff to become internal trainers and prepare plans for qualifying them as certified trainers.
● Assess training programmes, measuring their impact and analyzing results.
● Monitor the effectiveness of training and measuring the gaps between outputs and expected outcomes of
professional development programmes.
● Contribute to the analysis of statistical data of training programs and the extraction of performance
indicators and development solutions.
● Prepare an evaluation study of the impact of professional development programmes on the performance
of staff and impact on students.
● Apply best practice in the fields of training development of human resources and make suggestions for
developing best practice methods.
● Provide technical support to inform Directorate initiatives.
● Carry out any other tasks related to the job as required.
Qualifications:
Essential
• MA/MSc in a Computer Science field (e.g. Networking, Software Engineering etc.) from an accredited
higher education institution
Desirable
• PhD/Doctorate in a Computer Science field (e.g. Networking, Software Engineering etc.) from an
accredited higher education institution
• Professional qualification in staff development, for example, CPID Diploma in Learning & Development
Knowledge and Experience:
Essential
• A minimum of three-years’ experience in a senior learning and development role
• Understanding and application of programming web designing (Java, HTML, Python, C#) • Industry
Certification (i.e. Cisco, Microsoft, IC3 etc.) is desirable.
Desirable
• Experience of providing training solutions in an educational setting
Skills/competence
Essential
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English, for non-native speakers, a minimum of IELTs 7.0 Academic
or 7.5 overall with no less than 6.5 in any skill
