Chase Resourcing in collaboration with their clients, prestigious public Hospital Groups in Saudi Arabia require a qualified, experienced and registered Consultant Neurosurgeon to work in one of their Medical Hospitals in Saudi Arabia.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provides high quality surgical care in accordance with the level of his privileges for neurosurgical procedures
Operate in the OR within his approved privileges.
Physically present in the OR to assess and supervise his assistant to conduct surgery when his assistant has no approved privileges to carry out the procedure under the category of Solo in the privileges form
Expected to be available and productive during normal working hours
Carries out administrative duties as assigned by the Section Head, Chairman of Surgery or the Executive Director, Medical Services, CR.
Continuously upgrades his academic requirements and skills by actively participating continuing medical education programs, both within and outside the hospital
Undertakes primary responsibility for the care of neurosurgical patients as defined by the supervisor to whom he reports
Participates in the instruction and education of residents
Reports to the Department Chairman through his Section Head
Attends and participates in all division meetings, educational programs of the division and other meetings as requested by the Section Head or Chairman of Surgery
Responsible for submitting approved TRA by the Section Head, to block his clinic or provide approved coverage by completing the clinic blocking form through the proper chain of command and blocking the OR prior to submitting the TRA to the Chairman for final approval.
Duties within the Division of Neurosurgery arc assigned by the Section Head in accordance with the hospital’s regulations
Meet the CME requirements of Saudi specialization
Candidates can have American Board in Surgery / subspecialty NeuroSurgery plus 3 years post Board experience
Candidates can have FRCS in NeuroSurgery and be registered as a Specialist Registrar with 3 years’ experience at this level
The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a tertiary care center in Neurosurgery after certification
