Finance Controller | Bahrain Full Time

Chase Resourcing are delighted to announce we are recruiting a Finance Controller for our client in Bahrain.

They currently run 3 restaurants with approximately 150 employees and rapid expansion.

Role of Finance Controller

1. IAS (International Accounting Standards) & IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
2. Financial – / Management Accounting
3. Planning
4. (Annual) Budgeting / Monthly update with actuals and forecasts
5. Variance Analysis
6. Cash Flow Management
7. Purchase – and Inventory Control
8. Food Cost Analysis and Control
9. Auditing (internal and external)
10. Taxation according to Bahrain Law (Service Charge, Government Levy, VAT)
11. Bank Reconciliation Statements
12. Month End and Year End Process with Financial Analysis
13. Maintaining the cash flows and monitoring liquidity position
14. Review of monthly accounts and presenting the financials of the whole group to the owners
15. P&L Analysis
16. ROI / Payback Analysis
17. Software: Tally

Requirements of Finance Controller

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in said position in hospitality industry
• Good English, Arabic is a plus
• International / GCC experience is a plus
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in relative subject
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Excellent communication skills
