Chase Resourcing are delighted to announce we are recruiting a Marketing & Communications Manager/ Head of Marketing for our client in Qatar.
The Marketing & Communications Manager/ Head of Marketing is responsible for proposing and implementing appropriate and effective marketing strategies for the company and its subsidiaries. The incumbent would be responsible for media communications, represent the company & its subsidiaries at events, prepare marketing collateral that represent a strong brand image of the company’s products and services to customers and prospects. The incumbent will also provide tactical and analytical support to the Marketing Communication team whilst providing tactical workload reports to the management.
Basic Duties and Responsibilities of Marketing & Communications Manager/ Head of Marketing
Responsible for the development and management of marketing collateral, including social media; website content; videos; printed matter (including brochures, newsletters, annual reports etc.); photo libraries; exhibition and display material.
Responsible for strategically defining, planning, executing and following up on marketing communication plans for driving awareness of the companies brands in the marketplace.
Meeting with the senior management to discuss communication needs and assignments.
Planning and providing support for exhibitions and events as needed.
Liaising with external agencies, suppliers and providers as needed.
Directing and Managing the Marketing team & their workload.
Proof reading/ reviewing and approving the work done by the team
Prioritizing and managing assignments and delivering high quality products
Managing confidential information
Required Skills of Marketing & Communications Manager/ Head of Marketing
Time management and task prioritization skills
Strong written and oral communication skills (ability to speak Arabic would be an advantage)
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Knowledge of web design, animation, photo editing and video editing software packages, such as Dreamweaver, WordPress, Front Page, Flash, Swish, Final Cut, Photoshop etc.
Ability to use social media platforms such Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn etc. and create blogs using platforms such as Blogger
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of SEO
Preferred Qualifications of Marketing & Communications Manager/ Head of Marketing
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Studies, , Public Relations, Communications or any other relevant discipline
Experience of Marketing & Communications Manager/ Head of Marketing
A minimum 12 years Marketing & Communication experience.
Multi-sector/ industry experience is essential.
Must have worked in the GCC.
