Midwifery Nurses

Chase Resourcing together with their partner in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia are seeking a qualified Midwives

Our long established clients are looking for high caliber, experienced Midwives, to work in their internationally accredited hospitals in  Saudi Arabia.

Location:

Saudi Arabia, with a population of approximately 27 million, is in the centre of the world, between Africa and mainland Asia. It boasts dramatic landscapes, stunning seas and glorious mountains. In between the beaches on the Persian Gulf and the valleys, the cities offer a wide variety of cuisine and retail outlets to choose from; with restaurants, cafes, traditional souks, small stores, spas to large shopping malls.

Duties:

• Monitoring and examining women during pregnancy;
• Developing, assessing and evaluating individual programmes of care;
• Providing full antenatal care, including screening tests in the hospital, community and the home;
• Identifying high risk pregnancies and making referrals to doctors and other medical specialists;
• Arranging and providing parenting and health education;
• Providing counselling and advice before and after screening and tests;
• Offering support and advice following events such as miscarriage, termination, stillbirth, neonatal abnormality and neonatal death;
• Supervising and assisting mothers in labour, monitoring the condition of the foetus and using knowledge of drugs and pain management;
• Giving support and advice on the daily care of the baby, including breastfeeding, bathing and making up feeds;
• Liaising with agencies and other health and social care professionals to ensure continuity of care;
• Participating in the training and supervision of junior colleagues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing
• Two year’s diploma in Midwifery
• Mangerial Skills are desirable
• Valid license to practice as Registered Nurse and Midwife
• Minimum three years’ current experience as Staff Midwife
