Nurse Coordinator in Pediatrics Oncology required to work in the Middle East for a top Hospital Group in their Pediatrics Oncology High Dependency Unit.
This will be a 12-24 month contract and there is a highly beneficial salary package provided.

ABOUT THE NURSE COORDINATOR ROLE
You will be working in the top children’s hospital in the Middle East
This is a 14 bed mixed gender Pediatric Oncology High Dependency Unit for children from 0-14 suffering from illnesses such as leukaemia, lymphoma and neuroblastoma amongst others. You will be working alongside other Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, Patients educators and Play Therapists.
Shifts are generally 4 days on – 12 hour shifts and overtime is available if wanted.

Supervises nursing care provided by maintaining high visibility with staff and patients on areas of responsibility.
Coordinates staff activities and acts as resource throughout shift to ensure adequate nursing and resources for patient care.
Addresses issues using the problem solving process and utilizes the nursing chain of command appropriately.
Identifies areas where staff’s clinical knowledge and skills needs development.
Participate in teaching and mentoring of Nursing, Medical and Paramedical Students, Interns and Residents.
Complies with and participates in Quality Improvement processes and activities.
Monitors effectiveness of standards of patient care and nursing policies and procedures and reports deficiencies to Nurse Manager in a timely manner.
