Physics Teachers are to comprehend and implement the Physics Curriculum, using skills based learning in student-centered classroom environment.

Responsibilities of Physics Teachers
Exercise leadership by taking personal responsibility
Responsible for the successful class delivery, of the Physics program.
Continuous improvement of the teaching and learning materials and the provision of support to students.
Monitoring and assessing the progress of all learners
Use a range of strategies to promote positive relationships, cooperation, and purposeful learning in the classroom
Use a range of teaching and learning strategies to engage learners in active learning opportunities
Promote the development of critical thinking, problem solving, and performance capabilities and that help learners assume responsibility for identifying and using learning resources
Keep the needs of learners at the center of all professional planning and decision-making
Pursue further training and professional development as a teacher
Prepare learners for qualifications and external examinations
Actively participate in and support whole-school training events
Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary system of the institute
Uphold the Institute’s code of conduct and all school policies
Requirements of Physics Teachers
Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Physics
A teaching Qualification; Teaching Certificate / Diploma from a recognized university or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years’ of High School teaching experience
Native English speakers.
ILETS 7 or higher for Non-Native English speakers with experience in a Native English speaking country.
